About us.

BUSOLA Socially Excluded Education Association is a voluntary association of teachers, workers and supporters of the Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary as well as therapists of the Occupational Therapy Workshops working at the Plock penitentiary and other people working in the field of education. BUSOLA Socially Excluded Education Association acts on the basis of the Act of 07 April 1989 (The Associations Act) and its Constitution.

 

The goals of the association are:

1. Providing prison students and occupational therapy workshop participants as well as the socially excluded ones with educational, pedagogical, cultural, sporting, touristic, health-promoting and training activities.
2. Supporting self-development and equalling educational opportunities among prison students and occupational therapy workshop participants as well as the socially excluded ones.
3. Health promotion and health protection.
4. Promotion of history, culture and arts.
5. Promotion of natural heritage and ecology.
6. Working against social pathologies.
7. European integration, networking and cooperation among societies.
8. Improvement of the infrastructure of the Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary as well as the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary.
9. Cooperation with, assistance and coordination of self development of people connected with education.
10. Charitable activity.

The association pursues its goals by:

1. Organizing additional educational, remedial, cultural, sporting, recreational classes as well as rehabilitation activities connected with protecting and promoting health of prison students and occupational therapy workshop participants, their family members, teachers and their family members, workers of the Occupational Therapy Workshops and their families as well as people who are in any way threatened with social exclusion.
2. Organizing special pedagogical, psychological assistance and support groups for prison students and occupational therapy workshop participants and their family members as well as people who are in any way threatened with social exclusion.
3. Supporting teachers’ and therapists’ professional development and other people acting in the field of education by organizing various professional development activities, by sending them to seminars, workshops, trainings, job shadowings, study visits, practical trainings, etc.
4. Cooperating with and helping local authorities achieve their goals especially the ones connected with social care.
5. Running publishing activity for the needs of the Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary as well as the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary.
6. Promoting achievements of the Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary and its students as well as the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary, as well as its participants.
7. Organizing cultural and scientific events.
8. Purchasing teaching aids for the Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary as well as the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary.
9. Sponsoring prizes (if possible financial prizes, too) for laureates of competitions, sporting events and other similar undertakings.
10. Sponsoring scholarships and financial grants.
11. Initiating and organizing charitable events which are meant to raise financial means for Continuing Education Centre at the Plock penitentiary and its students as well as the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary.
12. Running publishing, promotional and advertising activity not mentioned in point 6 above.
13. Organizing field trips and other sightseeing trips for people engaged in the association activities.
14. Organizing and running trainings and courses improving professional qualifications of the teachers and school workers as well as the workers of the Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Plock penitentiary.
